As a business we are committed to minimising our impact on climate change and to meet this goal we will reduce, year on year, our per staff member CO2e rating. Currently rated at 2.1 tonnes per staff member, we aim to reduce this by a minimum of 5% per annum by focusing on travel, heating and office equipment. In addition, as a sustainability consultancy, we are instrumental in driving down the climate change impact of new build domestic property in the UK.
We actively encourage our partners and suppliers to follow our carbon reduction program and ultimately achieve environmental accreditation. To achieve our environmental objectives we will:
- Agree, publish and maintain a SMART action plan
- Reduce our CO2e rating to 1.8 tonnes by July 2014 and by a minimum of 5% per annum
- Work with our partners and suppliers to challenge conventional thinking and make environmental savings profitable and fun
The Environmental Policy and action plan will be published on our website along with the results of an annual policy review and the results of the quarterly activity plan review
To ensure the profile of our carbon reduction program is maintained at the highest level our senior consultant, Derek White, will be responsible for implementation
