Dynamic Energy Assessors have been awarded the contract to produce the SAP calculations under part L1B of the building regulations.
Unlike new build SAP calculations L1B requires the building has to be modelled as it existed before the renovation and then also modelled after the renovation thus ensuring:
- The renovated building fabric elements meet current building regulations
- The renovation, as a whole, has not decreased the efficiency of the dwelling
